Bespoke programs

At Bloom, we collaborate with you to bring your ideas to life, tailoring our innovation and entrepreneurship programs to meet the unique needs of your school. Whether you’re looking to inspire creativity, develop entrepreneurial skills, or drive student-led projects, we provide hands-on support and resources every step of the way.

Nexus

Students engage in a half-day or full-day entrepreneurship workshop which is generally based around a theme, industry or problem situated in the students unique context. Students follow the principles of design thinking to identify a problem, ideate solutions, and pitch their solution as a business idea.

Initiate

Bloom offers a series of online modules designed to introduce students to the foundational concepts of design thinking and entrepreneurship. These engaging, self-paced lessons guide students through creative problem-solving techniques, ideation processes, and the essentials of launching entrepreneurial ventures. By the end of the series, students will have gained valuable insights and practical tools to bring their innovative ideas to life and navigate real-world challenges.

Entrepreneurship 101

Entrepreneurship 101 helps students to follow the principles of design thinking to identify a problem, ideate solutions, and pitch those solutions as a new business idea. These workshops are delivered in half-day or full-day formats and are aimed at students getting a “first taste” of entrepreneurship education.

Innovation 101

Innovation 101 is a hands-on exploration workshop that introduces students to the concept of innovation. Depending on the age group, they are 1-2 hours long. Students are exposed to the basics of human-centred design to help them with the hardest part of innovation – moving from imagination to ideation.

Young Entrepreneur Showcase @ WTF

The Young Entrepreneurs Showcase (YES) is an annual event that provides an opportunity for high school entrepreneurs to promote and showcase their start-up to the business community, investors and public.

EDUfest

EduFest WA is a powerful one-day conference aimed at teachers, school leaders and education administrators who want know more about developing a culture of intrapreneurship and innovation in their school communities. By spotlighting educational programs, as well as showcasing the latest research and data about how young people learn how to be innovative, EDUFest is helping teachers to foster a new generation of creative problem solvers and critical thinkers who are ready to tackle the challenges of the future.

Regional Youth Innovation Pipeline

The Regional Youth Innovation Pipeline (RYIP) aims to create clear and accessible innovation pathways for young people in WA's regional and remote areas. A collaboration between regional stakeholders and education providers, RYIP aims to connect regional schools and young people to provide the same opportunities as their metropolitan counterparts.

CyberCup

Over two days, guided by industry-leading mentors, students in years 7-9 immerse themselves in a cutting-edge design thinking framework. From ideation to pitch, they collaborate in teams to dissect real cyber problems and create novel solutions. CyberCup is ideal for students who are interested in the cyber security industry or who have a keen interest in pursuing a computing pathway.

Minister's Innovation Challenge

Innovation Challenge which sees up to 40 teams of Year 8 students from WA public schools use design thinking to develop innovative solutions to local issues and problems.

Innovation Week

You don’t have to live in the city to create the next start-up – all you need are the skills. If your regionally-based school has students who aren’t involved in sports events but are still keen to participate in Country Week by attending fun-filled workshops and sessions aimed at starting a new business, then Innovation Week is the palace for them. Innovation Week takes place alongside Country Week every year, offering youth from across the state practical skills and self-development in their innovation journeys.

Youthpreneur

Bloom also offers after-school and weekend workshops focused on helping young people to create marketable products and services. These workshops run for primary or secondary aged students, and are focused around a particular theme such as side hustles or creative products.
